The initiative encourages neighbors to lift up students\, teachers\, staff\, and families in a moment of unified prayer. \nWhile Ark of Highland Lakes is not the organizer of these events\, the organization is proud to use its network and resources to support communication and coordination between local schools\, churches\, and prayer volunteers. \n“We believe in the power of community-led prayer\,” said Connie Klick\, Outreach Coordinator with Ark of Highland Lakes.\n “This isn’t about any one church or organization—it’s about bringing our people together in unity to speak life and blessing over every campus in our region.” \nWhy Prayer?\nThis gathering is a simple but powerful act of faith. As the school year begins\, communities will meet at designated school campuses to pray for: \n\nPeace and protection over students and staff\n\nWisdom and strength for educators\n\nEncouragement for families and leaders\n\nUnity across schools and communities\n\n\n“When we come together in prayer\, it creates a ripple effect of peace and purpose\,” said Elyse Sellmann\, a local ministry leader supporting the effort.\n “This is about showing up\, being present\, and believing that God moves when we seek Him together.” \nThe coordinated prayer times vary by location\, with many groups meeting at school campuses the weekend before classes begin.
