Join us for a hands-on Meat Processing Ministry Training and learn how you can be part of an important ministry serving families throughout the Highland Lakes.
Class size is limited to (4) total
The Ark’s Meat Processing Ministry will help provide protein to local ministries throughout the Highland Lakes area. This four-hour training is an opportunity to learn the meat-processing process and the skills needed to serve with this ministry in the future.
What to Expect
During this hands-on training, volunteers will be introduced to the meat-processing process and learn the procedures needed to safely and effectively participate in future processing opportunities.
No previous meat-processing experience is necessary. This training is designed for volunteers who are interested in learning and would like to become part of the team. You will actually be doing hands on meat processing so please wear clothing that you do not mind getting dirty. Also, closed toed shoes are recommended.
By giving your time and learning these skills, you’ll help the Ark turn available resources into something incredibly practical: quality protein that can be shared with food pantries and families throughout our community.
Come ready to learn, serve, and be part of a ministry that can make an ongoing impact throughout the Highland Lakes.
