There’s something special about people coming together, rolling up their sleeves, and building something that will make a difference in the lives of others. Think of it as an old-fashioned barn raising—with an Ark twist!
On Friday, August 14, we’re inviting volunteers to join us at Valley View Village for a special workday as we begin erecting the main structures for our Triage Housing.
These structures will one day provide temporary shelter and a safe place for select individuals in need as they determine their next steps. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of building something that will offer shelter, hope, and a pathway forward for our neighbors.
Everyone is welcome! There will be plenty of ways to lend a hand, and we are especially looking for volunteers with construction or building experience who can work alongside and help guide our volunteer teams.
What to Expect
This will be a hands-on outdoor workday—and it will be August in Texas! Come prepared for the heat and to get a little dirty. Please wear comfortable work clothes and sturdy, closed-toe shoes or work boots. Bring work gloves, sun protection, and anything else you need to stay comfortable while working outdoors.
Date: Friday, August 14, 2026
Time: 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Location: Valley View Village
582 FM 1855, Marble Falls, TX 78654
Whether you’re an experienced builder or simply willing to lend a helping hand, there’s a place for you on the team.
Come help us raise the walls and be part of building more than a structure—we’re building a place of hope for someone who needs it.
Many hands make light work, so grab a friend and come build with us!
