Hill Country Hunger Alliance

About the Alliance

The Hill Country Hunger Alliance (HCHA) is a volunteer group of food pantries, churches, school administrators, elected officials, area leaders and active citizens who have committed to end hunger in the Hill Country. HCHA helps coordinate and direct people to existing resources and find gaps in service with the goal being three healthy meals daily to anyone in the Hill Country who needs them.

The A.N.D.Y. Trailer:

(Abundant Nutrition Delivering Yahweh)

Bringing Hope and Nourishment to Our Community

The Ark A.N.D.Y. is a mobile food and resource trailer that serves as a satellite location to distribute supplies and food for those who need it most. The mobile unit can be deployed quickly, as needed, to areas with high poverty or elevated need.

We are currently distributing hot meals, frozen casserole, and a bag of basic toiletries/cleaning items to each family in need on a weekly schedule. Please click the button below to find out where and when to find the A.N.D.Y.

Love In Action

Recently, a grandmother came to the trailer, worried about finding something her picky 10-year-old grandson would eat. He skeptically tried a cheeseburger—and loved it. They’ve returned every week since. But the real blessing came when we connected her with critical services she needed and watched as both she and her grandson found a church home in Granite Shoals. Today, they speak of how blessed they feel by the love and support of their new Ark family.

This is what the Ark is all about: loving God, sharing His love with others, and watching Him work through simple acts of kindness—a hot meal, a prayer, a listening ear.
