Deer Processing Center
How It Works
Donate your deer to help feed local families, or have it processed into basic cuts for your own freezer. Here’s everything you need to know before you drop off.

From the field to the freezer
1.
Harvest
Harvest a white-tail deer and field dress it. Leave your tag on the deer.

3.
Drop off
Bring your deer to Valley View Village, Monday through Saturday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Directions and after-hours help are below.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
How long does it take to process my deer?
Please allow 1 to 2 weeks for your deer to be processed. Our team will give you a call when it’s ready to be picked up. Deer not picked up within 2 weeks of that call will be added to our donations.
What cuts will I get?
Right now we’re only offering basic cuts: backstrap, tenderloin, steaks, roasts, and ground venison. Everything is carefully processed, packaged, and ready for your freezer.
Does my deer need to be field dressed?
Yes. Please field dress your deer before you drop it off.
Is there a time limit between harvest and drop-off?
No, there’s no cutoff. Just bring your deer by during drop-off hours, or call our after-hours line if you need help outside those times.
What do I need to do with my hunting tag and license?
Leave the tag on your deer when you drop it off. You’ll also enter your hunting license number when you fill out the form, so have it handy.
How do I pay for processing?
Processing is $100 for basic cuts. Payment is made online when you fill out the form.
Do I still fill out the form if I'm donating?
Yes, everyone fills out the form. Just choose Donate. You will be given the option to donate and cover the cost of processing. It only takes a few minutes and helps us keep track of every deer that comes in.
What kind of deer do you accept?
We’re accepting white-tail deer only for now.
What happens if my deer can't be used?
If our team finds that a deer isn’t safe to process, we’ll give you a call to let you know. Processing fees for deer we can’t use will be refunded.
Ready to drop off your deer?
Fill out the form before you come so we know you’re on the way. Donating or processing, it only takes a few minutes.
