Our Mission & Vision
Love God, Love People
OUR MISSION
We unite churches across the Highland Lakes to provide refuge and reveal God’s love through faithful action. Together, we walk alongside vulnerable neighbors, meeting urgent needs while guiding them toward healing, renewal, and lasting transformation in Christ.
OUR VISION
We envision a Highland Lakes where no one faces crisis alone — where churches move as one body, generosity overcomes fear, and every life is restored through the transforming love of Jesus.
Churches United
We believe the Church is stronger together. When congregations across the Highland Lakes unite in purpose and action, resources multiply, barriers fall, and no neighbor is overlooked. Our vision is one body, moving as one, for the good of our community and the glory of Christ.

Neighbors Thriving
We envision a region where crisis does not define a person’s future. Through consistent support, loving relationships, and practical help, families regain stability, children find security, and individuals rediscover hope. Thriving means more than surviving. It means flourishing with dignity and purpose.

Lives Transformed
True transformation begins at the cross. We believe every life can be renewed through the restoring love of Jesus. As physical needs are met and hearts are healed, stories change, futures are rebuilt, and faith becomes the foundation for lasting change.

The People Behind the Mission
The mission of the Ark is not carried by programs alone. It is carried by people.
Faithful leaders. Compassionate staff. Dedicated volunteers. Generous churches. Community partners who believe no one should face crisis alone.
Behind every meal served, every family housed, every prayer offered, and every life restored is a network of individuals who have chosen to show up. They bring wisdom, humility, courage, and consistency to the work each day.
We are not perfect people. We are people bound together by perfect love, serving side by side for the good of our neighbors and the glory of God.
When you meet our team, you meet the heart of the Ark.
The Character of the Ark
The vision of the Ark is not built on buildings alone. It is built on transformation.
Churches united.
Neighbors thriving.
Lives transformed.
We envision local churches standing shoulder to shoulder, working together to reflect the love of Christ in practical, visible ways.
We see families finding stability instead of crisis.
Children growing in safety instead of uncertainty.
Neighbors discovering hope where despair once lived.
Our vision is not temporary relief. It is lasting restoration.
This is what we are building together — a community marked by unity, compassion, and the transforming power of Jesus.
