“

Ark of Highland Lakes has performed miracles for me. They found me in my darkest place- homeless and without my children. They lifted me up when I had nowhere to turn, providing a home and the support I needed to regain custody of my kids, pursue my education, and rebuild my life. Because of the Ark, I have hope for my future, and for the first time in a long time, I believe in myself again.

What we do

Uniting Hands, Healing Hearts, Transforming Communities

Adult male deer with large antlers standing in a sunlit grassy field, trees in the background.

Hunters across the Highland Lakes can drop off their deer at the Ark’s processing center, and the meat is packaged and shared with local families who need it. It’s a simple way to turn a good season into full freezers and fed neighbors right here at home.

Meeting immediate needs is just the start. Through Transformational Living, Valley View, and SW Village, we walk alongside neighbors as they rebuild their lives, offering a safe place to land, steady support, and the hope that real change is possible.

When churches and neighbors come together, good things happen. From community-wide worship nights and REDS Day to Heart of the Ark, our annual fundraiser, our events bring the Highland Lakes together to worship, serve, and support the work of the Ark.

Valley View Village is a 211-acre community where families and individuals in crisis can find their footing again. Through housing, job training, mentorship, and faith, we’re helping neighbors move from instability toward lasting hope, built by a united church for the good of the Highland Lakes.
